Information Systems & Data Engineer, Software Engineer and Product Specialist graduate of Amadou Mahtar Mbow University.

Passionate about software engineering, full-stack development, DevSecOps, data science / BI, artificial intelligence and automation, I combine strong technical experience with significant exposure to digital product ownership and digital transformation. I work across the design, development and deployment of modern, scalable web applications, as well as data analysis, automation, LLM-based architectures, RAG and product-related challenges.

My background combines large-scale digital product ownership, full-stack development, data analysis, Machine Learning and LLM-based architectures. At YAS Senegal, I work in particular on Yas App product ownership, multi-channel UAT/E2E, acquisition and retention, CVM segmentation, GTM and product performance optimization.

I also design AI solutions applied to business challenges: RAG, NL2SQL, process automation, document analysis, Business Intelligence and decision-support systems.

My engineering capstone project focused on the design and implementation of a multi-source intelligent assistant based on language models for decision support, applied to the YAS Senegal context.

  • Owned Yas App at the Senegal level: cross-functional coordination across IT, Business and Communication, dependency tracking, operational trade-offs and Back Office management.
  • Led acquisition, engagement and retention initiatives that contributed to reaching 126,000 monthly active users (MAU) in the first month after launch.
  • Coordinated with Senegal and AXIAN Group teams on product enhancements, technical dependencies and launch operations.
  • Led multi-channel UAT/E2E across USSD, App, CRM, IN and OCS: test plans, datasets, evidence, UAT sign-off reports, release notes, rating, rounding, balances, timeouts and reversals.
  • Performed ad-hoc analysis and CVM segmentation of the customer base using SQL Server to optimize marketing campaigns, targeting and product performance.
  • Optimized revenue through Wave: defined marketing targeting, recommended and planned YAS offers available in Wave, and tracked performance.
  • Managed Go-To-Market activities: Communication, Sales and Care briefs, launch checklists, USSD catalog governance and in-app content.
  • Coordinated cross-functionally with RA, DWH, CAB and IT teams in a fast-track delivery model.

  • Developed an SVM binary classification model (Striga-infected vs healthy plants) using images collected through Bing Image Downloader.
  • Processed images with skimage and OpenCV, including grayscale conversion and resizing to 150x150.
  • Built a supervised SVM training pipeline with hyperparameter optimization using GridSearchCV.
  • Visualized and evaluated results using a confusion matrix, classification report and class-distribution plots.

  • Performed statistical and temporal analysis of rainfall data from the Foundiougne station (Senegal) using an Excel file.
  • Extracted, processed and visualized monthly rainfall time series from 1950 to 2017.
  • Calculated multi-decade averages (1950–1969, 1970–1999, 2000–2017) and generated standard-deviation charts.
